South Florida Students Excel in Wine and Spirits Exams

Students in South Florida have a flair for wine and spirits studies, according to exam results figures released by Florida Wine Academy.
 
Students outperformed the global average in every set of WSET results released so far.
 
WSET qualifications are recognized as the global standard for Wine and Spirits Education.
 
In 2019, students of Florida Wine Academy achieved a 96% pass rate for the Level 1 qualification in wine compared to a global average of 88%.  For Level 1 in Spirits, 100% of students passed versus 90% globally.
 
The students of the higher Level 2 exam were similarly successful, with 97% passing the wine exam compared to a global average of 90%.  100% passed the spirits exam versus 96% globally.
 
Alessandra Esteves, Co-founder and Director of Education for Florida Wine Academy, commented: “These are brilliant results.  We are very lucky to have such hard-working students and teachers, and we’re very proud of what they have achieved this year.  We’re excited for the year ahead as we have even more courses and classes planned in wine, spirits and even Sake.”
