Rkatsiteli Grape Profile on Winetraveler.com

Don’t worry if you can’t pronounce this grape at first glance! That’s part of the reason that we put together these grape profile pages on Winetraveler.com–as a way to educate about the many different grape varieties found around the world.

Rkatsiteli is a unique grape with a long history in the country of Georgia. This is a pale-skinned white grape that makes wines of various styles from dry to sweet and even sparkling. It’s now possible to find different styles of Rkatsiteli wines in the U.S. regions of the Finger Lakes, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and North Carolina, to name a few.

If you aren’t familiar or want to learn more about Rkatsiteli, check out my latest grape profile page on Winetraveler.com.
